Common errors & troubleshooting
Image looks stretched
Cause: Exact width and height were forced without locking aspect ratio.
Fix: Use an aspect-preserving mode (fit / longest edge / percentage) instead of exact stretch.
Output larger than expected
Cause: PNG is lossless; upscaling increases pixel count and file size.
Fix: Export as JPG/WebP with quality controls after resizing.
Privacy and security
- Your input and generated output are processed locally and are not sent to our servers for tool execution.
- Opening a local file uses the browser File API; the file is not uploaded to UtilityKit.
- We may collect anonymous product analytics (for example page views). Tool contents are not included in those events.
- Upscaling cannot invent true detail — enlargement interpolates existing pixels.
- Very large dimensions may be limited by browser memory.
